St. Anthony the Great is recognised by ancient tradition as the ‘Father of monks’ and is the first monk whose writings have been handed down, although his influence on subsequent generations depends mainly on the Life of Anthony written by St. Athanasius of Alexandria, a work that spread widely throughout the ecumene and became the model for Christian hagiography.

To register for the conference, please contact the organising secretariat in advance to check availability and only then send the completed registration form via the link that will be provided by email.

Registration is open from 15 May to 25 August 2025, subject to availability. Participants who are guaranteed full board will be accommodated at the Monastery of Bose, but due to the limited number of places available, some may be asked to make their own arrangements for meals and accommodation. Priority will be given to those coming from abroad.
